Lawmaker surprises his aide with a brand new car and N10m cash at his wedding - Plateau

The House of Representatives, Hon. Komsol Alphonsus  Longgap, representing Shendam, Qua’an-Pan and Mikang Federal Constituency of Plateau State has surprised his aide with gifts on his wedding day.Hon. Konsol attended the wedding of his Campaign Director General, who aided him during the 2019 general elections. He surprised the groom with a brand new Toyota Corolla S car and ten million naira cash.

Speaking at the wedding reception, Hon. Komsol while congratulating the couple, advised them to make good use of the ten million to either build or buy a house.

The wedding between Bilyaminu Gapdat and Maryam Ali which took place in the Palace of Long Jan of Namu Chiefdom on Wednesday, January 27, 2021

President of Nigerian football federation, Amaju Melvin Pinnick has been cleared by FIFA to contest in the FIFA Council elections.   In November 2020, Pinnick announced his intention to contest for a seat on the FIFA council following speculations that he will not run for the next Confederation of African Football (CAF) presidency.   In a letter dated January 26, the Chairman of the FIFA Review Committee, Mukul Mudgal, informed Pinnick of his eligibility for the position.   “We refer to our correspondence dated 18 November 2020 regarding the subject matter.
