Former heavyweight boxing champion Andy Ruiz Jr. has stated that Anthony Joshua will lose his eagerly-anticipated heavyweight title unification fight with Tyson Fury. Fury vs Joshua has been tagged the biggest fight in the history of British boxing, and is now set to take place in the summer, with all belts at stake. WBC king Fury, known for his skills and masterful body defence has been tipped by many to get the better of the powerful AJ, who once lost to Ruiz Jr in 2019.     Ruiz has now opined that Joshua will lose to Fury. Ruiz told Little Giant Boxing: “I think that it’s gonna be an interesting fight. “I fought Anthony Joshua, I haven’t fought Tyson Fury. Tyson Fury has a real style, he’s tall, he fights tall.     “I kinda see Tyson Fury winning that fight. Rio Ferdinand has revealed he feels like he's experiencing fatherhood for the first time with his son Cree because he was away so much with his other kids.  A former Italian football star, Luigi Sartor, who played for AS Roma, Parma, Juventus and Inter Milan, has been put under house arrest after police allegedly found him growing marijuana. Reports from Italian media say Sartor and Marco Mantovani, both aged 46, were found growing 106 marijuana plants at Sartor's mountain cottage. The police raid took place on Friday in Lesignano Palmia, south-west of Parma in northern Italy.    The plants when mature could have produced 2kg (4.4 pounds) of marijuana. According to police they grew suspicious when the cottage's power supply was doubled and its lights were seen to be on at night. They stopped Sartor's car which smelled the same distinctive marijuana odour that was detected outside his cottage.   It's not the first time Sartor has run into the strong arms of the law.   In 2011 Sartor was indicted for conspiracy to commit betting fraud, in a match-fixing scandal known as "Calcioscommesse".  Larry King’s widow, Shawn King is contesting a handwritten amended will written by the late talk show host and has gone to court to challenge Larry King Jr.’s move to become a special administrator of the estate.   Shawn Southwick King, 61, who was married to Larry King since 1997, is contesting the 2019 will, the Los Angeles Times reported. The document, known as a holographic will, left the radio and television talk show host’s estimated $2 million estate to his five children, the newspaper reported.   His children are Larry King Jr. and his two sons with Shawn King: Chance King, 21, and Cannon King, 20. Two of his children from his marriage to his third wife, Alene Akins, died within three weeks of each other in 2020, Us magazine reported. Game of Thrones Stars, Rose Leslie and Kit Harington have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy.   The couple confirmed the happy news by stepping out with their newborn in London on Tuesday, February 16. Kit's rep later told E! News that the couple welcomed a baby boy and they are "very very happy!"     The new parents, both 34, confirmed their pregnancy back in September after Leslie debuted her baby bump for U.K.'s Make Magazine and spoke about how they have been spending quality time together in their Tudor manor house in East Anglia amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.   Kit and Leslie famously portrayed star-crossed lovers Jon Snow and Ygritte on the Emmy-winning HBO series Game of Thrones.   They first sparked relationship rumors in 2012. Ebele Obiano, the first lady of Anambra state has shared a video online as she received the second dose of the COVID19 vaccine.   In January, she received heat online after she shared a video of herself taking the first shot of the  vaccine  in the US. Nigerians attacked her for taking the vaccine in the US when the same hasn't been made available to residents of Anambra state.   Mrs Obiano in a statement said that she received the vaccine and shared the video to encourage everyone to take it. The remains of the father of the Delta state governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, Pa Auther Okowa, was laid to rest in a private ceremony on Tuesday, February 16. He died on Thursday, January 28. He was 89 years old.    See more photos from the private funeral below.  

Suspected bandits have abducted some staff and students of the Government Science Secondary School in Kagara, headquarters of Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State.   The bandits invaded the school around 3 am on Wednesday, February 17, abducting the students and some of the staff. One student was reportedly killed during the attack.   The state police command is yet to comment on this incident which comes barely two months after gunmen invaded Government Science Secondary School, Kankara in Katsina State, kidnapping over 300 students.  

Rafi'atu, the girlfriend of final year student of the Federal University, Dutse, Jigawa State, Bashir Abdulalhi, has denied cheating on him, saying it was the deceased, who actually cheated on her.   LIB  reported that the Mathematics student, an indigene of Ungwa Uku Tarauni Local Government Area of Kano State, committed suicide by drinking poisonous subsance suspected to be Sniper because his girlfriend allegedly cheated on him with another man.     The incident occurred at his Yalwawa residence, located on the outskirts of the state capital, around 5pm on Monday, February 15.   His friends quickly rushed him to the Rasheed Shekoni Teaching Hospital in the state capital, where he was confirmed dead by doctors on arrival.   Spokesman for the Jigawa State Police Command, DSP Zubairu Ismai, who confirmed the incident, said that the university had commenced investigation to unravel the circumstances that led to it.     Meanwhile, new reports have stated that the deceased took the dra

Nigerians are reacting to the news of Obinwanne Okeke popularly known as Invictus Obi, who has just been sentenced to a 10-year jail term by a Virginia Court in the United States for internet fraud.    He was sentenced on Tuesday evening, February 16, after being found guilty of causing approximately $11 million in known losses to his victims between 2015 and 2019   The fraudster, who was once listed on the Forbes Africa 30 Under 30, was arrested in August 2019 by the  Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) on charges of computer and wire fraud.      After months of denying his involvement in the crime, he pleaded guilty to the allegation of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and agreed to cooperate with American authorities last year June.   The defendant who had investments in oil and gas, agriculture, private equity, alternative energy, telecom, and real estate had operated his holdings under the ‘Invictus Group’ and had a presence in three countries including Nigeria, South Africa, an
