Suspected bandits abduct staff and students of a secondary school in Niger state

Suspected bandits have abducted some staff and students of the Government Science Secondary School in Kagara, headquarters of Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State.

 

The bandits invaded the school around 3 am on Wednesday, February 17, abducting the students and some of the staff. One student was reportedly killed during the attack.

 

The state police command is yet to comment on this incident which comes barely two months after gunmen invaded Government Science Secondary School, Kankara in Katsina State, kidnapping over 300 students.
