Suspected bandits abduct staff and students of a secondary school in Niger state

Suspected bandits have abducted some staff and students of the Government Science Secondary School in Kagara, headquarters of Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State.

 

The bandits invaded the school around 3 am on Wednesday, February 17, abducting the students and some of the staff. One student was reportedly killed during the attack.

 

The state police command is yet to comment on this incident which comes barely two months after gunmen invaded Government Science Secondary School, Kankara in Katsina State, kidnapping over 300 students.

The largest unexploded World War Two bomb ever found in Poland has detonated during the defusing process, a Polish Navy spokesman said.

Swinoujscie was part of Germany and called Swinemünde at the time of the bombardment. The shock of the latest detonation was reportedly felt in parts of the city and a video shows the blast throwing up a large column of water into the air. Nigerian music moguls,  Wizkid  and  Don Jazzy , spark social media frenzy as they are spotted months after their publicized online outburst. The outburst between the prominent figures ensued after  Wizkid referred to Don Jazzy as an “influencer”  during the “Afrobeats is dead” debate. In a surprising U-turn, Wizkid reversed his earlier remark about Don Jazzy, describing him as an “amazing human being on X (formely Twitter).
