President Bola  Tinubu on Saturday, November 29, received former President Goodluck Jonathan at the Presidential Villa following Jonathan’s return to Nigeria from Guinea-Bissau.   Jonathan had travelled to the West African country on an election monitoring mission. His safety became a subject of public concern after soldiers attempted to seize power in Guinea-Bissau, triggering uncertainty in the capital.   He was however flown back to the country on Friday, November 28.   He visited the State House to brief President Tinubu on his election monitoring duty in Guinea Bissau.

Referee issues 17 Red cards following massive fight in Bolivian Cup football match

A Bolivian Cup quarter-final clash between Blooming and Real Oruro ended in absolute chaos after the final  whistle, leading the referee to issue a staggering 17 red cards following a huge brawl involving players and staff from both sides. The match ended in a 2-2 draw in the Copa Bolivia quarter-finals, meaning Blooming advanced to the semi-finals thanks to their 2-1 victory in the first leg. However, the action on the pitch was completely overshadowed by the violent scenes that erupted just moments after the match concluded.
