US President Donald Trump has announced that each American will receive at least $2,000 from U.S. tariff revenues.   In a post on Truth Social, Trump noted that the payments would be for all but “high-income people.”   The president also generally lauded the state of the US, calling it 'the most respected country in the world'. Any police officer escorting VIP is on illegal duty and will be arrested - Force Spokesman

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has warned that any police officer found providing escort or protection for Very Important Persons (VIPs) will be arrested, describing such assignments as “illegal duty” under the current directive of the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun.   The spokesperson of the police force, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, disclosed this while speaking on Channels TV on Tuesday, December 2.   Hundeyin stressed that the enforcement operation is fully underway, emphasising that all officers attached to VIP protection duties have been withdrawn.   “The enforcement is on. The IGP gave the directive that any police officer found escorting VIPs be arrested because, definitely, he is on illegal duty.
