U.S. President Donald Trump has paused military aid to Ukraine following his clash with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy last week, a White House official has said. Alexey Navalny says as he is handed new two and half year jail term - "My main offense to him is that he will go down in history as Putin the Poisoner'

Russian political activist, Alexey Navalny has labelled Russia's president, Vladimir Putin as "Putin the poisoner." after a Moscow court on Tuesday, February 2, sentenced him to prison for more than two and a half for breaking his parole conditions by going to Germany to recover after he was posioned by a lethal never agent.     Tuesday's hearing happened under a heavy security presence, with riot police securing the court building and cordoning off the general area with police vehicles, trucks and vans.      Police reportedly detained up to 360 of Navalny's supporters outside the court before the hearing had begun.     Since Navalny was arrested last week after coming back to Russia, following months of ICU treatment in Germany after he was allegedly poisoned by the Russian state, there have been mass protests in Russia, as tens of thousands of Russians have demanded the activist's release.  Navalny blames the Novichok nerve agent attac...

Victor Osimhen’s €75m clause only for foreign clubs - Ex-Napoli Chief

Former Napoli sporting director, Pierpaolo Marino has said that Serie A clubs are unlikely to meet Victor Osimhen’s €75 million release clause, which is effectively set for foreign clubs.   Speaking to RAI 2, Marino explained that Napoli’s price tag on the Super Eagles striker reflects his global stature, but is realistically only within reach of clubs outside Italy.   “The clause is appropriate for Osimhen’s international value. He’s one of the few players in the world who can transform a team from not winning to winning,” Marino said.   He also cast doubt on Galatasaray’s reported interest, suggesting the Turkish club could be acting as a bridge for an eventual move to an Italian giant.   “My concern is this: Turkish teams have always offered players massive wages but rarely paid high fees for transfers. Pogba’s Brother warns Manchester United - 'Sell him now or lose him for free'

Manchester United must ‘sell Paul Pogba now’ or they will lose him for free, the France star's brother Mathias, has warned. Reports keep linking Pogba with the Old Trafford exit door despite his scintillating form which has helped his side to second in the Premier League table. In December 2020, Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola revealed the 27-year-old wants to leave Old Trafford admitting the World Cup winner was more likely to leave in the summer with one year left in his contract. United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has always said he doesn't want to sell Pogba and has avoided attacking Pogba over his agent's comments.
