Tinubu departs Abuja for three-state tour, to spend end-of-year holiday in Lagos

President Bola Tinubu on Saturday departed Abuja for his three-state tour to Borno, Bauchi, and Lagos.

Tinubu left the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, at 11:45am, boarding the 20-year-old Boeing 737 Business Jet, which was earlier listed for sale in July but delisted months later due to poor buyer interest and lowball offers.

While in Borno State, President Tinubu will commission some projects undertaken by Governor Babagana Zulum and the federal government.

He will also attend the wedding ceremony of Sadeeq Sheriff, son of the former Governor of the State, Ali Sheriff, and his heartthrob, Hadiza Salem.

From Maiduguri, the president will move to Bauchi to condole with the Government of Bauchi State and the family of Dahiru Bauchi, the late renowned Muslim cleric and leader of the Tijjaniyya Muslim Brotherhood. The cleric d!ed on 27 November.

After the condolence visit, President Bola Tinubu will leave for Lagos, where he will spend the upcoming end-of-year holidays.
