Olympics view on gymnastics: How gymnastics is a base for many Olympic sports

Disciplines such as diving, aerial skiing, and pole vault are obviously more gymnastics-related, but the sport can also provide a foundation in more unexpected ways. We've all seen the viral clips of little kids emulating their favourite  gymnasts  competing at the Olympic Games, the too-big leotard hanging loose around the knees of a toddler, agog at what they are watching on the TV screen. The one with the father helping his young child emulate  London 2012 Olympic floor champion  Aly Raisman , wearing a similar stars-and-stripes designed leotard with dad helping with the somersaults (thankfully on the soft cushioning of a bed), is adorable. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has formally signed three legal instruments granting clemency, commutation of sentences, and presidential pardons to 34 individuals, in the exercise of his constitutional powers under Section 175 (1) and (2) of the 1999 Constitution (as amended). Legal document templates   According to a statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, the move follows consultations with the Council of State and takes into account public opinion on the matter.   The president’s review led to the removal of individuals convicted of serious offences such as kidnapping, drug trafficking, human trafficking, fraud, and unlawful possession of firearms from the list of beneficiaries.
