Superstar singer, Beyonce, surprised her fans when she started smoking a cigarette during her Cowboy Carter concert tour stop in Paris, France, over the weekend.

 

The singer pulled out a cigarette mid-performance and started pretending to puff on the prop during her show on Sunday, June 22.


Beyonce performed the final one out of three shows in Paris and even brought out her husband, Jay-Z for a surprise performance. 

 

For the first time in seven years, the rapper joined her onstage to close out the show for a surprise Crazy In Love duet.

Germany summons Iranian ambassador over arrest of alleged spy

Iran’s ambassador to Germany was summoned by the German foreign ministry on Tuesday, July 1, following the arrest in Denmark of a man suspected of spying on Jewish targets in Berlin on behalf of Tehran.   “We will not tolerate any threat to Jewish life in Germany,” the ministry said in a post on X, adding that the allegations require “thorough investigation.”   The suspect, identified only as Ali S., was arrested last Thursday in Aarhus by Danish police, the German federal prosecutor’s office said in a statement. He is “strongly suspected of having worked for an intelligence service,” they added.   According to the prosecutors, Ali S. received instructions from an Iranian intelligence service earlier this year to gather information on Jewish communities and individuals in Berlin. Improved crude oil prices shoot Nigeria’s external reserve to 36.23bn. [aljazirahnews] CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele, said at the January Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting of the bank, which began on Tuesday that improvement in crude oil prices contributed to the increase. “The MPC noted the increase in the level of external reserves, which stood at 36.23 billion dollars as at 21st January, 2021 compared with 34.94 billion dollars at the end of November 2020. “This reflected improvements in crude oil prices, partial global economic recovery amid optimism over the discovery and distributions of COVID-19 vaccines by most developed economies,’’  he said.
