Osimhen should do what’s best for himself and his family Austin Jay Jay Okocha

Former Nigerian international Austine Jay-Jay Okocha has advised Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen to make a decision regarding his next career move that prioritises his personal and family interests.

Osimhen is currently considering his options after turning down a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal. The Napoli forward is widely anticipated to leave the Italian club before the 2025–26 season, with several top teams eager to sign him.

In a conversation with Sport 247, the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations winner emphasised that he prefers not to interfere in a player's career decisions.

“The decision should be his. Whether it goes well or not, he must own it. I don’t believe in deciding someone’s future. He should choose what’s best for him and his family.” Okocha said

Osimhen’s next destination remains a hot topic as fans and pundits await confirmation of where the prolific striker will play next season.
