Sparkak Moscow comment on the future of Chelsea owned winger Victor Moses

Spartak Moscow has released a statement on the future of Chelsea-owned winger, Victor Moses.


The former Super Eagles player, joined the Russian heavyweight club in October 2020 for a loan fee of 300,000 euros and a purchase clause set at five million euros at the end of the season


And now the club says it will make a decision on whether to trigger the purchase clause at the end of the 2020-2021 season, after consulting with the club's head coach.


"So far we have not discussed the possible redemption of Moses. The head coach will decide on Victor, it's too early to talk about it," Spartak Moscow's Public Relations officer Fetisov said to Sport Express.


"We will raise the issue of the purchase only at the end of the season."


Moses has scored one goal in nine appearances for the club.


He is currently with the Spartak Moscow squad at their winter training camp in Dubai


Moses who played a pivotal role in the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations win by Nigeria, previously enjoyed loan spells at Liverpool, Stoke City, West Ham, Fenerbahce and Inter Milan.
