Update: Drunk South African policeman who stole police car has been dismissed

Tsekiso Jonas Tshabalala, the drunk South African policeman who was arrested few months ago on charges of drinking and driving, and using a state car without authorisation has been dismissed from the police force.

 

The 39-year-old South African Police Service (SAPS) constable, who was found guilty in an internal disciplinary process, still faces charges of driving under the influence and using a car without permission.

 

The Provincial Commissioner of North West, Lieutenant General Sello Kwena confirmed the dismissal and also revealed that Tshabalala was officially dismissed on 26 January 2021 after an internal disciplinary process found him guilty of being fully uniformed and intoxicated.

Trump says Ukraine should get a new leader as he spars with Zelensky over US-Russia diesel deal

US President Donald Trump on Saturday, October 10 criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as the two leaders clashed over a new energy agreement between the United States and Russia, suggesting that Ukraine should replace its leadership.    Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump expressed frustration with Zelensky following a series of Ukrainian drone strikes on Russian oil refineries that Washington had urged Kyiv to avoid.  TrackExec Orders "You know what I suggest? Nigeria Super Eagle defender Semi  Ajayi joins Hull City on two-year deal

Nigerian international Semi Ajayi has signed a two-year deal with English Championship side Hull City, with the club holding an option for a further year.   The 31-year-old defender joins the Tigers after a six-year spell at West Bromwich Albion, where he made 177 appearances and scored 13 goals. Hull City confirmed the signing on their official website on Wednesday.   “Hull City are delighted to announce the signing of experienced defender Semi Ajayi on a two-year contract, with a club option of an additional year,” the club said in a statement.   Ajayi will officially join the team on July 1 and arrives with significant Championship experience, having played over 200 matches in the division. The Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) has reaffirmed its support for Cristiano Ronaldo’s continued involvement with the national team, describing the forward as an icon of Portuguese football.   FPF president Pedro Proença, in a post on the federation’s X account on Monday, said Ronaldo remains an important member of the national side whenever he is fit and available for selection.   “Cristiano Ronaldo is the best player in history.
