Paul Pogba gives new nickname to his Man United teammate Marcus Rashford
Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has dubbed his teammate Marcus Rashford ‘the Prince of England’ as the forward celebrated his 23rd birthday.
Rashford has rightly received plaudits for his performance on and off the field at United this season.
The England international came off the bench during the midweek
Champions Leaguewin against RB Leipzig to score a hat-trick just days after his petition to extend the free school meals scheme reached over 1m signatures.
Rashford, born and raised in Wythenshawe, has rallied support in his bid to take on the government in the fight to provide free meals for deprived school children and his efforts were
recognised with an MBElast month.
Pogba wished his teammate a happy birthday on Saturday, writing on Instagram: “Happy Birthday Rashy the Prince of England.”

Juan Mata joined in with the birthday messages and had a different nickname for the United academy graduate.
He wrote on Twitter: “Happy Birthday Wonder Kid! Keep going @MarcusRashford,” alongside a picture of Rashford during his time in the England youth setup.
Rashford started as a substitute in the win against Leipzig but should return to the starting XI to face Arsenal on Sunday.
